A photo from Guatemala: Eterna Primavera, Eterna Tiranía
Here is another photo from Guatemala: Eterna Primavera, Eterna Tiranía, which will be published in June 2010 under the imprint of the Fundación Soros Guatemala
I have long been an admirer of your photographs from Guatemala, where I have now lived for the past 16 years. They are spot-on. Important. And surely will endure as the definitive work from the war years. I look forward to your new edition, though I will continue to treasure my Guatemala: Eternal Spring, Eternal Tyranny. Now that I have, via Maryjo M., discovered your blog I'll look forward to much more. tom waters
Tom: Thank you! I hope we will meet in Guatemala. In the meantime, I am posting a new entry after I review the book pdf file this weekend -- a nerve-wracking but oddly pleasant task. Next week, the book goes to the printer for galleys. I'll be in G. the last two weeks of March to edit them.
Im so glad to have found your blog via Karla Maldonado in Facebook. I will wait anxiously for your book, looking forward to get inspired by your pictures. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Oh my goodness, what a nap!!! I'm jealous of that kind of slumber.
