ReplyDeleteI have long been an admirer of your photographs from Guatemala, where I have now lived for the past 16 years. They are spot-on. Important. And surely will endure as the definitive work from the war years. I look forward to your new edition, though I will continue to treasure my Guatemala: Eternal Spring, Eternal Tyranny. Now that I have, via Maryjo M., discovered your blog I'll look forward to much more. tom waters

ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope we will meet in Guatemala. In the meantime, I am posting a new entry after I review the book pdf file this weekend -- a nerve-wracking but oddly pleasant task.
Next week, the book goes to the printer for galleys. I'll be in G. the last two weeks of March to edit them.
Your photographs always touch my heart. Glad to hear you have a book on the way.
